He has a thorough understanding of many different styles of music, and as a performer and educator he is highly sought after. In his role as an educator, Barry inspired many students to achieve great things. Many of his students continued music studies internationally and in Australia. He was very successful in encouraging many young students to take up music and be involved in ensembles. He has created many successful music departments with an aspiration of excellence and mass involvement. Barry is a beautiful piano accompanist. I have particularly enjoyed his work with singers.
